Free TSA-Plan Toolkit (T-START) Workshop

Description

The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA’s) Denver office will be hosting a Transportation Security-Plan Template and Assessment Review Toolkit (T-START) Workshop on June 25, 2024.  The T-Start is a non-regulatory security plan template designed to assist Highway Motor Carriers stakeholder and companies in developing an effective Security Plan. The Security Plan template provides operators with baseline security and emergency recommendations and a framework to build tailored, company-specific security plans. This template organizes information in an easy-to-use, consistent format and incorporates useful information and tips to strengthen the industry’s resistance to disruption of its critical services.

This is a fully voluntary Workshop that TSA is offering all members of the North Dakota Motor Carriers Association.  This training is also free of charge.  If you or your company are interested in this free training, please reply to this email.

The Workshop will be held at the Hector International Airport (Fargo, ND) in the main conference room.  There will be parking validation as well as snacks and drinks.  Lunch is on your own in Fargo.

If you do plan to attend, TSA ask's that you bring a laptop computer with Windows and Excel installed.  They will send you the template to complete in class so that everyone leaves with a basic framework of the Security Plan.  TSA is also including extra information for all members to gather as this pertains to each company or individual.
