DESCRIPTION:Each year the North Dakota Motor Carriers Association gathers at our annual convention to give special recognition to industry professionals who go above and beyond and show an unwavering commitment to safety. Awards given in 2026 are in recognition for achievements in the previous year. NDMCA offers awards in the following categories:Fleet Safety Awards-Download the ApplicationFleet safety awards recognize the safety records of NDMCA member companies. Fleet safety awards are broken down by carrier class and mileage class. One grand champion will be selected from the various class winners.Service Technician of the Year-Download the ApplicationThis award is in recognition of a service technician that has shown a commitment to safety\, integrity in their interactions with drivers\, co-workers\, customers and the general public\, a commitment to continuing education\, a willingness to mentor other technicians and has made significant contributions to improve their place of work or the lives of those who work with them.Service Manager of the Year-Download the ApplicationThis award is in recognition of a service manager that has shown a commitment to safety\, integrity in their interactions with drivers\, co-workers\, customers and the general public\, a commitment to continuing education\, made significant contributions to equipment maintenance\, scheduling\, training\, cost reduction or other areas of shop management and has made significant contributions to improve their place of work or the lives of those who work with them.Safety Professional of the Year-Download the ApplicationThis award is in recognition of a safety professional that has shown a commitment to safety\, has made contributions to the trucking industry\, shown integrity in their interactions with drivers\, co-workers\, customers\, and the general public\, implemented programs\, processes and procedures during their tenure to further safety and has worked outside their company to improve workplace & roadway safety.Driver of the Year-Download the ApplicationThis award is in recognition of a driver that has shown a commitment to safety\, has made contributions to the trucking industry\, shown integrity in their interactions with drivers\, co-workers\, customers\, and the general public\, may have completed documented deeds or heroism and acts of courtesy on or off the highway and made significant contributions to improve their place of work or the lives of those who work with them.Nominations Nomination forms must be submitted to NDMCA by June 1st. Nominations are reviewed by an independent committee. Not all awards will be given each year as they are dependent on the quality of the nominations submitted.
